History

The University established in 1995 with the approval of the University Grants Commission (Bangladesh) and the Government of Bangladesh’s Ministry of Education under the Private University Act of 1992 which was replaced by Private University Act 2010.

The original campus is located at 54/1 Progoti Sarani, Baridhara-Nodda,Dhaka-1212 and the permanent campus(Proposed) is located at Mouja # Daulatpur, Union #Kailail, Upzilla # Nawabgonj, District # Dhaka -1320, which is in Dhaka District. The University campus covers about 134 acres of land with playground, auditorium, basketball court, food court, gymnasium, swimming pool, innovation lab, artificial fountain, golf course, hostel, staff quarter and other facilities.

The University offers bachelor’s,master’s degrees through its various departments.The University has a large Library and also laboratories.

Every University is the best by its own self claiming fact. But how University like ABU can be best :
